I am an illustrator and designer, currently working in the UK. I graduated from Falmouth University's Masters programme in Authorial Illustration with distinction in 2009. Now, I work on my own projects, collaborative ventures, and commissioned illustration and design briefs. I run Pirrip Press, a small design and print studio specialising in silkscreen and letterpress printing, with Georgina Hounsome. I work with my hands, drawing and painting, and where possible, like to use printmaking methods to realise a project. I create and produce my own books, working sequentially to produce narratives exploring themes grown from small observations, true stories, personal encounters and my environment. I aim to rouse the imagination of the reader with my narratives, and ensure that the design and form of the final piece enhances the intimate experience of reading and looking. 

I also work on single images, prints, shorter projects and commissioned illustrations. I am keen on type, and have a small letterpress studio where I produce limited edition prints, posters and other printed ephemera.
